Things you might not have known about Laura
- I'm Canadian, but I've lived in the U.S. since 1996
- I'm married. To a woman. The most beautiful and wonderful woman alive
- I also have the greatest kid in the universe
- I won an essay contest when I was 12. I wrote about vandalism
- I was stung on the hand by a scorpion while I was wading in a river at Havasupai
- My fellow students and I used to drink Frangelico-laced coffee during our collection development class
- I've got a Bachelor of Journalism degree. Yes, I make fun of the fact that I have a B.J.
- I'm the worst zazen practitioner in the world
- I have run 10 miles through the mud. And I liked it.
- I'm a burner, but mostly a villain
- I have competed, but alas I am not a f*** grilled cheese champion
- I'm mostly vegetarian (and of that, I'm mostly raw)
- I like beer. I really like beer.
- I think marijuana use should be legalized
- I've thrown snowballs indoors
- Unix doesn't scare me
- Clowns do scare me
- I've been to Santacon
- I live in a hundred and two year old house, which I'm working on. Slowly.
- Our house was in the running to be used in a Snoop Dog video because it looked so ghetto
- I'm adding more tattoos to my body
- I've also got a nose piercing and a rook
